The Manx Dyslexia Association (MDA) was set up by a group of concerned parents in 1993 and has done a great deal over the years to increase awareness and understanding of this specific learning difference on the Island.
The aims of the MDA are:
The MDA works with parents of dyslexics, adults dyslexics and teachers, to give them the most appropriate possible help we can. The MDA keeps up to date with information from the British Dyslexia Association and Dyslexia Action.
This website is run by the Manx Dyslexia Association (MDA), a registered Isle of Man Charity number 706. The MDA is committed to protecting your privacy. These manual records are kept in a file for no more than 6 months and are then destroyed.
If you have contacted a member of the MDA via our g mail address, then any such g -mails enquiries are deleted within 6 months.
If you have contacted the MDA via our official Facebook page your details are not transferred anywhere else.
If you have contacted a member of the MDA by telephone to ask for advice your name, telephone number and/or e-mail address may have been noted for the purposes of handling your enquiry. If this is the case, then such details are held on file and destroyed within 6 months.
